Meet the Team Behind First Call Digital
First Call Digital didn’t start as a marketing agency. It started as an MSP’s internal team, built to solve a problem most MSPs know well: marketing good enough to actually trust.
One very fast growth curve and a lot of other MSPs asking for the same help later, that internal team became its own business. Here’s who you’d actually be working with. For the fuller mission and values behind First Call Digital, see our About Us page.
How an MSP's marketing team became its own agency
First Call has operated as an MSP in Montana for close to 30 years, since Matt Manley founded it. Decades of doing IT support for other businesses gave the company strong opinions about what actually works in marketing, and what’s just noise.
Under Conor’s operational leadership, First Call grew from under $1 million to over $9 million in revenue. Marketing became too important to hand off to someone who didn’t understand the business, so First Call built its own team instead.
That team, eventually led by Cassia, got good enough that other MSPs started asking for the same help. Eventually, the answer became a system of delivery and First Call Digital was born: an agency built by the same people who’d already proven the approach on their own company first.
Who you'd be working with
CEO
Conor is First Call Digital’s CEO. He helped establish its systems, prioritize its focus, and make sense of what really matters to MSPs. He brings high value direction and business assessments when it comes to understanding each of our clients and their unqiue struggles as they try to move the needle from $3 million to $5 million and beyond.
Cassia
Digital Marketing Director
Cassia didn’t set out to become the person MSPs call when their marketing feels scattered, but somewhere between managing dozens of client strategies, that’s exactly what happened. She runs day-to-day digital marketing strategy and keeps the team’s work tied to what actually moves the needle for an MSP: qualified leads, not vanity metrics. She’s the first point of contact for most clients.
Sophie
Content Lead
Sophie’s actual job is explaining what an MSP does in language a prospect can understand without a technical translator, which turns out to be a genuinely rare skill. She writes and designs most of the content a client’s audience actually sees.
Angie
Web Developer & Design Lead
Angie will happily talk about page speed and clean code longer than most people want to talk about anything. She builds and maintains the websites this team designs for MSPs and IT companies, with an eye for the small technical details, load speed, mobile behavior, that a technical buyer notices even when they can’t quite name why a site feels trustworthy.
Alex
CFO
Alex got into finance to make sure the numbers actually add up, which turned out to be exactly what an agency serving recurring-revenue MSPs needed. He keeps engagements priced fairly and invoices predictable, which matters more than it sounds like for MSPs used to being nickel-and-dimed by agencies that don’t understand subscription billing. He’s the person to talk to about budgets and scope.
It should feel like an internal marketing team, because that's how we started
Most agencies ask you to explain your business before they can help you. We built our first strategy for our own MSP before we ever pitched a client, so a lot of that translation work is already done. Working with us is meant to feel less like hiring an outside vendor and more like the internal marketing department First Call Digital actually started as: people who already understand the pressure of a slow sales cycle, a technical buyer, and a leadership team that wants proof, not promises.
That’s the standard every person on this team is held to, whether they’re writing your next blog post or rebuilding your website from scratch.
